Originally trained as a graphic designer at Jacob Kramer College (now Leeds College of Art & Design), I returned to education in 1999 in order to expand my design skills into the rapidly emerging area of web and multimedia design.

By enhancing my skill set in this way I now have a much greater appreciation of the overall creative process, whether this is for print or screen based projects.

Experience gained in the advertising industry has instilled in me the importance of keeping an eye on the overall strategy when designing. Whatever the medium be it print, digital or a mixture of the two, the end product should always offer a seamless brand presentation to the customer.

When it comes to screen based design, in particular web design, I aim to strike a balance between usability and aesthetics, commerce and artistic expression. Attention to detail is always paramount in everything I do.
